Epson is upgrading the home cinema experience with the launch of two new high-end home theatre 4K laser projectors.
Unveiled for the first time at EI Live!, the EH-LS12000B (black chassis) and EH-LS11000W (white chassis) deliver high brightness, high image quality and flexibility with Epson’s laser light source and a new 4K image processing chip delivering 4K resolution.

Both projectors feature a combination of high-end technologies to deliver a high 2,500,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 4K resolution (8.3mil pixels), HDR10+ support, 3LCD and a laser light source. The powered lens shift and zoom lens ensures an accurate display is achieved.
Epson’s 3LCD technology eliminates the ‘rainbow effect’ and allows users to enjoy vivid colours thanks to an equally high white and colour light output of 2,700 lumens on the EH-LS12000B and 2,500 lumens on the EH-LS11000W. the HDR10+ supports gives extra details and depth for natural but rich colours. The high dynamic contrast ratio delivers deep blacks, allowing detail in shadows to be well defined. They also feature 4K Frame interpolation, 4K Super Resolution and super adaptive gamma correction/auto contrast enhancement.

Not just for home cinema enthusiasts, the new projectors are also ideal for gamers with resolutions up to 4K at 120 fps, along with input lag times below 20ms. The projectors allow serious gamers to take full advantage of the latest generation of gamin consoles and even higher-end gaming PCs.

Both the EH-LS12000B and EH-LS11000W have a long-lasting laser light source which provides lower energy consumption, and the laser lasts for up to 10 years.

Easy to set up and install, both projectors feature motorised optics including a powered 2.1x optical zoom, powered focus and powered lens shift of +/-96.3% vertical and +/-47.1% horizontal. Watching content in the right aspect ratio is made simple by being able to store 10 favourite formats. The projectors are also compatible with Calman colour calibration software.
“With more and more people spending time at home enjoying movies together, or even gaming as a family, these projectors are ideal for anyone looking to take their viewing experiences to the next level,” said Paul White, Epson Europe’s manager product management for video projection unit. “More households now have dedicated home cinema rooms, or spaces large enough to enjoy the big screen cinema experience that these projectors can deliver.”

The EH-LS11000W and EH-LS12000B are available from October/November 2021 with an RRP of £4,099.99 and £4,399.99 respectively.
