LG multi-purpose lamp to put ‘personal green spaces’ on show at CES 2025

LG has lined up its latest indoor gardening appliance for launch at CES 2025.

The new floor-standing lamp combines adaptable space and LED growing lights, offering more plant growing space than the company’s previous indoor gardening appliances.

Following a trend for multi-purpose appliances, the lamp’s dual lighting offers upward-facing mood lighting and downward lights with five intensity levels.

The lamp dispenses the right amount of water and nutrients for the number and variety of plants being grown, offering a twenty-plant, four-seed-kit capacity.

This system syncs with the LG ThinQ app to manage cultivation, adjust lighting and monitor growth for extended periods, from any location.

The lamp features a 1.5-gallon-capacity water tank that delivers hydration between refills for leafy greens, herbs, flowers and fruits.

Along with this model, LG will reveal a new indoor gardening appliance featuring a nature-inspired side table design at CES 2025.

Lyu Jae-cheol, president of the LG Home Appliance Solution Company, said: “Our new indoor gardening appliances present a fresh way for customers to create their own personal green spaces, have fun growing their own plants, and infuse their homes with an inspired touch of modern style.

“We will continue to deliver innovative indoor solutions that allow anyone to experience the joy of gardening, regardless of where they live.”
