PocketBook debuts zero-watt digital poster at CES 2025

PocketBook has launched a battery-powered digital colour poster concept.

The Swiss-based eBook specialist is introducing the InkPoster under a brand of the same name at CES 2025.

The InkPoster, a collaboration with E Ink and Sharp, includes three models and two screen technologies to offer an eco-conscious alternative to LCD displays.

The concept combines cutting-edge E Ink Spectra 6 and Sharp IGZO technology.

While the former offers an ink-on-paper effect without the need for illumination, the IGZO backplane delivers fast image updates.

The InkPoster runs on wireless battery power to eliminate blue light and heat, using zero-watt power consumption for static images.

The paper-like screen offers a year of use on a single charge, and is available in three models:

31.5-inch InkPoster – 2560 × 1440 resolution and a 20,000-mAh battery for large, immersive spaces.

28.5-inch InkPoster – 2160 × 3060 resolution with the same battery, combining flexibility and sophistication.

13.3-inch InkPoster – 1200 × 1600 resolution and a 14,000-mAh battery for intimate interiors.

The system requires energy only when changing its image, using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to sync up with the InkPoster app.

Users can choose from a curated collection of art or personal photos on the app, rotating between vertical and horizontal orientations.
