Q Acoustics has introduced an in-wall, easy-install audio system designed to be installer-friendly.
The E60 combines wireless Bluetooth connectivity with a sleek design, representing an entry-level addition to the British audio manufacturer’s easy-install family.
Along with a screwless clip-in fixing system aiming for fast installation, the model is IP54 splash-proof and requires no additional silicone sealant – making it a suitable choice for bathrooms, kitchens, garden summer houses and other humid environments.
It adopts design and feature cues like touch-sensitive controls from its predecessor, the E120 Bluetooth and DAB radio in-wall system.
Additionally, LED indicators provide immediate visual feedback but dim automatically in low-light conditions to avoid disturbing occupants.

Two integrated 25-watt amplifier channels drive up to two pairs of in-ceiling speakers or cabinet models across a range of listening environments.
The system is tuned and optimised for use with Q Acoustics’ in-ceiling, in-wall and outdoor easy-install speakers, while remaining compatible with third-party install speakers.
The E60 also offers a mono mode, selectable via switch, which allows both audio channels to be played through both speakers.
It’s said to be a cost-effective solution for spaces such as bedroom and bathroom combinations, where the manufacturer says consistent sound coverage is more important than stereo imaging.
Wireless audio is handled via Bluetooth 5.0, supporting two-way control for volume, play/pause and track skip.
For wired sources, an optical digital input allows connection to a television or other external source, making the E60 equally suitable for music playback or TV audio enhancement.
A fixed or variable analogue line output supports further system expansion, enabling connection to a subwoofer or additional power amplifier.
This allows installers to scale the system as needed, without unnecessary complexity.
