URC has strengthened its partnership with BluOS to deliver deeper integration between BluOS-enabled devices and URC’s Total Control and High-Definition Audio (HDA) systems, giving installers new tools to deliver high-resolution, multi-room audio within smart home projects.
The integration allows BluOS systems to be managed directly through URC interfaces, covering music selection, volume adjustment, and multi-zone distribution. Homeowners can also take advantage of URC’s voice control features, which now extend beyond system automation to cover music playback, track selection, and room-based adjustments.
This means BluOS audio can be incorporated into broader Total Control scenes, combining music with lighting, climate, and entertainment settings to create tailored environments for different occasions.
From the installer’s perspective, the integration is designed to simplify deployment. Once the module is added, minimal programming is required, and URC provides remote access capabilities for monitoring, troubleshooting or making adjustments. This reduces on-site visits and helps streamline ongoing support.
The expanded collaboration between URC and BluOS reflects growing demand for unified control of high-quality audio within smart homes, while giving integrators an easier path to deliver multi-zone, hi-res sound experiences.
