URC expands Total Control with new BluOS, HEOS and WiiM integrations

URC has announced a week of music-focused updates, unveiling new integrations for BluOS, Denon HEOS and WiiM in its Total Control automation platform.

The coordinated release aims to give dealers and end users wider choice, faster control and a more unified experience across mixed-brand systems.

The result of premium partnerships, URC’s Total Control ecosystem scales from high-performance listening rooms to whole-home streaming zones, all without changing dealer workflow. The new modules for BluOS, HEOS and WiiM follow this logic, enabling two-way communication within scenes, macros and voice events.

The latest integrations seek to reduce installation time, with improved day-to-day operation in residential and commercial projects.

For BluOS, URC has enhanced search, playlist management, metadata feedback and multizone routing. Users can now tie high-resolution playback to lighting, climate or entertainment scenes, while installers benefit from clean setup and responsive control.

The new WiiM module supports the brand’s compact streamers with two-way status feedback, metadata retrieval and discreet TCL commands. Dealers can build automations based on playback state or presets, maintaining consistent programming across mixed-brand audio environments.

Finally, HEOS streaming users gain improved presets, queue access, history and grouping. Navigation across services and rooms requires fewer steps – whether that’s using touchscreens, in-wall controls or URC remotes.
