Yaber introduces 1080p portable projector with JBL speakers

Yaber has unveiled its latest projector for entertainment on the go with native 1080p resolution and premium audio thanks to its partnership with JBL.

The Projector T2/T2 Plus is a portable unit which builds on the success of the Yaber K2s at-home-cinema projectors that were launched last year by allowing users to have an ultimate entertainment experience outdoors and on the go.

“After months of development with JBL we are delighted to bring our customers a truly portable cinema experience,” said Marshall Mao, general manager of Yaber.

“Extra effort was put into upgrading the outdoor use of the Projector T2/T2 Plus. After all, what good is a portable projector if it gets easily shaken by the wind or isn’t bright enough to watch under starlight? Beyond film and music, our customers want a projector to power parties on the go, and that’s what the T2 Series delivers – a system that looks better and sounds perfect.”

With native 1080p resolution and 450 ANSI lumens of brightness, the T2 Series creates high quality pictures even with background lighting. Designed to cast on uneven surfaces like the side of a camping van, the T2 Series has a projection range of 40-in to 120-in and intelligent auto-correcting technology to ensure crisp details with accurate scaling.

Intelligent software from Yaber will automatically fit the screen to its destination with automatic focus, keystone correction and obstacle avoidance and screen alignment to save time and hassle of setups. The settings menu and remote control can be used to make further manual adjustments if required.

The video system is paired with dual JBL speakers with Dolby Audio support for a balanced audiovisual experience.

Its built-in battery supports up to 2.5 hours of battery life for movies, or 18 hours of Bluetooth-connected music.

For minimal damage while on the go, the T2 Series features innovations and upgrades to ensure the projector remains sturdy. Highlights include Yaber’s unique air ventilation system which helps reduce overheating, as well as a functional handle that can rotate to brace the projector from the ground and avoid shakes from sudden movements. The handle can also be further rotated to lift the projector up to 15 degrees off the floor to provide extra projection range.

Yaber has also fully sealed the optical engine to protect from dust accumulation, ensuring longer lasting, clear visuals.

While the T2 and T2 Plus share the same specifications, the Projector T2 Plus is available in physical stores and on the Yaber website, bundled with a Google TV Dongle and remote control that supports Google Assistant. Users can access the official Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, YouTube, and over 7,000 apps through the Google TV Dongle.

The Projector T2 is an online exclusive with options to add-on purchase the dongle.

Users can also connect the projector to a smartphone via the Yaber App for seamless screen mirroring, remote control and NFC.

Debuting in the US, the projector is available now, with global release to follow shortly. The Projector T2 starts at $299 while the T2 Plus starts at $349.
