CEDIA confirms first RP32 workshop will be held at CEDIA Expo Denver

CEDIA has confirmed it will host its first North American RP32 workshop at CEDIA Expo Denver.

Focusing on audio system measurement and verification, the full-day session takes place on August 31 as part of the trade association’s Education Conference at the Colorado Convention Centre.

The course unpacks the recommended procedures of RP32 using a range of tools and software, led by the following experts: Adam Pelz, owner and president of Bespoke Cinemas; Matt Poes, owner of Poes Acoustics; and Tom Dellicompagni, owner of Dellicompagni.

Paul Dolenc, vice president of education and training at CEDIA, said: “Expo is the ideal place to introduce the RP32 Workshop to a broader audience of industry professionals looking to strengthen their technical expertise.

“Participants will walk away with valuable skills they can apply immediately across both residential and commercial projects.”

The workshop aims to teach applications of RP32 methodology, repeatable system measurement, RP22-verified performance and results documentation.

Scheduled from 8:30am to 2:30pm, it’s positioned for newer practitioners as well as experienced professionals who want to adopt a recommended practice-based approach to system verification.

RP32 complements other CEDIA engineering standards, including RP22 Immersive Audio Design.
