Crestron Europe extends award submission deadline

Crestron Europe has extended its deadline for entries to its Crestron Europe Integration Awards 2021 to Friday 10th December 2021.

The awards ceremony will celebrate the best projects completed this year featuring Crestron technology in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The projects can be from both residential and commercial sectors. Winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony taking place during the ISE on 2 February 2022, hosted by executive director EMEA sales for Crestron Europe, Robin van Meeuwen.

“We’re so excited to see the calibre of projects coming through for the Crestron Europe Integration Awards 2021,” he said. “With an overwhelming interest from integrators across EMEA, we have decided to respond to their requests for more time to complete those award-worthy entries and showcase the fantastic projects they have been working on during the past 12 months.”

This year’s awards features 16 categories and projects can be entered into more than one category to increase the chances of winning an award.

To help entrants create their submission to the best of their ability, Crestron has released a new podcast discussion in which some members of the judging panel offer their top tips on the best ways for integrators to present their entries. Available on iTunes, Spotify, and as a video on YouTube, the recording examines what the judges are looking for in an award-winning project, as well as useful insight on the judging process.

Entrants will be judged on the written information provided in the online submission form, with supporting imagery and video files strongly encouraged. Winners will be chosen based on their ability to communicate their unique interpretation of using Crestron technology to create superior smart spaces and meet the customer’s brief.
