For the first time in 18 years, Crestron will be extending its invitation to its Master event to design engineers as it launches its ‘Master Technology Architect’ qualification.
This year’s new-look schedule – a reaction to growing importance of system design and planning in the AV sphere – will see the Crestron Technical Institute offer 100 place on its new certification program, Master Technology Architect (MTA).
“Mastering system design in today’s competitive landscape requires more than just programming, you need to be a technology architect,” commented Rich Sasson, director of global technical services. “To meet that need, Crestron is taking the industry’s highest certification to a new level ensuring the world’s top design engineers are equipped with the tools needed.”
The new MTA courses are available to Crestron Certified Programmers and by special invitation to top Crestron dealers and partners and will be classified as indicating “very highest level of expertise in Crestron system design and deployment" according to the manufacturer.
Residentially-focused courses taking place at the event will explore topics including ‘Integrating Pyng and Crestron Studio’ and ‘Pyng and Native Video Integration’ – all of which have been updated for 2018.
This year’s Crestron Masters will train over 1,200 people. This year’s European event takes place from May 15 to 17, 2018 at the Mövenpick Hotel in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The US event will take place a month earlier in Uncasville, Connecticut from April 10 to 12.
Attendance to the Crestron Masters is by invitation only and Crestron-certified programmers will receive an invitation email with a unique registration code. Registration will close for Masters Europe on 15 May, with hotel rooms available at a special rate in both the US and the Netherlands via Crestron.
