Crestron has announced it will soon be launching the Crestron Marine Programme designed for shipbuilders, specifiers, and ETOs, with Crestron set to award a number of its dealers with “Crestron Authorised Marine Dealer†status.
John Clancy, vice president, residential at Crestron said: “We are in the final steps of creating and launching this programme, working to build a network of only the most qualified and experiences marine dealers.
“We are extremely excited to be improving this important business sector and will be making an official announcement about our authorised marine dealers very soon,” he continued.
There will be a number of benefits to Crestron Authorised Marine Dealers, shipbuilders, specifiers and ETOs. Specialised Crestron Marine training will be offered, as well as having access to global specialised Crestron Marine support 24/7/365.
There will also be a dedicated tech sales number and ‘Help IDs’ to provide the prompt attention and advanced knowledge required in this demanding market. They will have global product availability assurance on marine forecasted projects as well as a five-year warranty on Crestron Marine Designs.
Finally, they will have specialised marine shipping support for both new products and replacements anywhere in the world.
Crestron’s Marine Division was announced earlier this year and last month it was revealed that industry veteran, Daniel Kerkhof would be leading this new department.
“As regional manager Benelux at Crestron EMEA, Daniel played an integral role in helping Crestron capture the dominant share of the superyacht automation market, making him the ideal person to lead Crestron Marine,” concluded Clancy.
