At Focus/16, held at London's Design Centre Chelsea Harbour from 18-23 September, Crestron will showcase its redesigned showroom as well as host an interactive workshop with Kate Burnett, Editor of Studio and some of its key showroom partners.
The ’Design your Lifestyle” workshop will take place on Friday 23 September, 11.00 – 12.30pm, and comprise a live debate aimed at exploring the interaction between lifestyle technology and interior design, focusing on how important the relationship is between interior designers and luxury home automation in the design process.
Chaired by Kate Burnett, panellists will include Steven Salt of Boffi UK, Rebecca Weir of Light IQ, Christopher Cox of Cox London and Nick Fichte, Residential Account Manager at Crestron.
Steven Salt has spent over eighteen years with Boffi and has been involved in the design and management of numerous kitchen and bathroom projects for private residences and high-end multi-unit dwellings, making him an ideal candidate to advise on this type of project.
Rebecca Weir has completed over 1,200 award-winning residential and commercial lighting projects worldwide. As well as a renowned lighting designer, Rebecca is also a successful columnist and author, recently launching her book ‘The Languages of Light’, which demonstrates her passion for lighting and her ability to harness and maximise the creative potential of light, to explore and push the boundaries of illumination.
Christopher Cox was a founder of Cox London in 2005. Its studio of inventive and sculptural work fuses fine art with furniture and lighting. Cox London designs and manufactures its own stunning in house range and private commissions for the trade in iron, cast bronze, mill and fabricate brass and steel and blow, cut and silver glass, shape and set stone and plaster.
