Distributor Ivory Egg has announced that it will be hosting a 1-day course dedicated to informing installers on how heating and hot water systems work.
Exploring the benefits of introducing intelligent control into the home via KNX, the course will take place on Tuesday 11 July and Wednesday 25 October, 2017. The course is CEDIA CEU accredited with 3.5 CEUs given on completion.
The course will specifically focus on how UK heating and hot water systems are designed, installed and controlled. This knowledge will then be expanded by looking in-depth at how KNX controls work and how to configure products to take the place of standard 230V controls.
Ivory Egg state that attendees will learn how to deliver a project with any KNX products or configuration of heating and hot water system.
“Heating control is often a source of confusion for our integrators so by offering this course we hope to make it simpler to get involved with KNX, and give integrators the tools and knowledge they require to deliver more projects with confidence,” commented Mark Warburton, technical director at Ivory Egg.
The course will be delivered by Simon Buddle of Future Ready Homes. More information on how to attend the training can be found online.
