Loewe Technology has acquired French loudspeaker manufacturer Cabasse, in a move aimed at strengthening its position in the premium home entertainment market.
The deal brings together two established names in high-end AV, combining Loewe’s design-led approach to consumer electronics with Cabasse’s long-standing expertise in acoustic engineering. While now under Loewe ownership, Cabasse will continue to operate independently, retaining its brand identity, engineering direction and R&D base in Brest, France.
Cabasse’s engineering will feed into a roadmap that includes fully integrated home cinema systems, multi-room audio platforms and connected wireless products. The companies also point to deeper levels of system personalisation and sound optimisation as part of that development.
Loewe will support Cabasse through investment in product development, infrastructure and international distribution, while using its own sales and marketing channels to expand Cabasse’s global reach.
