Monster's HDMI Black Platinum[/caption]
Premium Black Platinum HDMI cables join the previously available Gold, Platinum and Black Platinum models to better meet the performance needs of Ultra High Definition TVs owners. These cables offer several features, including HDMI performance indicators that enable consumers to see the true resolution being transmitted to the screen. In addition the cables are rated at 31.5 Gbps and are capable of handling the current and future high-resolution TV technologies. Like all Monster premium cables, the Monster CORE Premium Black Platinum is covered by the Cable for Life program, further protecting customers’ investments with a free replacement Monster HDMI cable should any future equipment's cable speed rating requirements supersede that of their original purchase.
Monster’s exclusive locking V-Grip connectors are extra secure and withstand four times the force of standard HDMI connectors so they will not accidentally disconnect from components, the company said. These cables also feature 24k gold contacts and high-density triple-layer shielding.
The Premium Black Platinum’s onboard HDMI Performance Indicators are made possible by technology developed by Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. (“Spectra7â€), a high-performance analog semiconductor company. This new application of Spectra7 technology provides visual indicator of the video format up to and including 4K resolution, making it easier for consumers and installers to correctly set up TV displays and source components for maximum performance.
All of Monster’s latest HDMI cables meet or exceed the latest HDMI specifications, are rated for in-wall installation and deliver all functionality such as Audio Return Channel (ARC) and HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC).
