New course opens to specify and program URC's new simple control solution

A new one-day training course has been launched by AWE’s Smart Home Academy to teach attendees how to specify and install a simple control solution.

Now open to registrations, the ‘Total Control Expressway – Control Made Simple’ course is available online to all AWE trade customers.

Desire for smart homes has increased lately, especially since the start of the pandemic, and not all homeowners requesting customised control solutions require a highly complicated and expensive system. This one-day training course is designed to provide integrators with the knowledge required of a simple and reliable new solution from URC that can transform the specifying, programming and installation process.

The course will explain the benefits of using URC’s Accelerator 3 Expressway Software, programmable remotes and extenders, and attendees will learn how to programme the entire system, how to logically and easily specify a system and multiroom audio options. There will also get hands-on experience with URC’s Total Control products and its new software.

Hosted by Mal Fisher and Tilak Rana, the sessions will be limited to four attendees to encourage discussion and interactivity.

Attendees will receive a new URC MRX-5 high-performance network controller and a TRC-820 high-resolution LCD screen Wi-Fi remote prior to the training session. They will also gain unlimited access to URC’s dedicated training portal, with marketing assets and resources.

The training costs £332.50 + VAT and registration is open now.
