Nortek Security & Control (ex Core Brands) has announced the promotion of Horacio Morales to the position of director of International Sales, CI & Security.
Prior to his promotion, Morales spent 3 years developing partnerships as the international sales manager for the Latin America and Asia-Pacific regions. In his new position, Morales will be responsible for leading all international sales efforts across the company’s custom installation and security brands and will report to Jeff Costello, VP of sales at Nortek Security & Control (NSC).
“As our international sales manager for the Latin America and Asia-Pacific regions, Horacio had a substantial impact on our growth,” commented Costello on the decision. “Recently, we created a new role to leverage the synergies between our control and security business internationally, and are confident that Horacio is the right sales leader to grow ELAN, 2GIG and other brand sales in all regions.”
Morales earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology from California State University - San Marcos, and his Master of Business Administration from Regis University. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Point Loma Nazarene University, where he teaches on Personal Leadership Development, Principles of Management, and Cultural Influences in the Workplace.
