Optoma Extends its Commitment Across the Middle East and Africa

 Nitin Ranjan and Donald Fernandes have joined the team at Optoma Middle East and Africa (MEA), further extending the world leading manufacturer’s commitment to the regions.

Both based in Dubai, Nitin will oversee sales for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Donald will look after Optoma sales for Sub-Saharan Africa.

These new posts further extend Optoma’s commitment to the MEA regions following the appointment last year of Mohsin Abakhti as Sales Manager for its operations in MEA and Tarun Nebhnani for sales and distribution management for the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq and Yemen.

Mohsin says: “Optoma is investing in the regions and its team. By investing more resources, we will forge greater partnerships and gain a better understanding of these markets.”

Married with two children, Nitin has worked within the AV industry in the MEA for over a decade.  He says: “I am delighted to join the dedicated team at Optoma MEA and look forward to using my experience to raise the profile of Optoma across KSA.”

Donald has also spent more than 12 years in the MEA within AV distribution and sales, with the last nine years looking after distribution across Africa for Canon products. Like Nitin, Donald lives in Dubai with his wife and two children.  He says: “Optoma’s products are of excellent quality but are, surprisingly, not as well-known across Africa.  I am really looking forward to this new role, showing customers these products and putting Optoma on the map.”
