Integrators will now be able to confidently design and specify technically accurate luxury living spaces using Samsung’s The Wall, which is now available in the home theatre design software, The CEDIA Designer (TCD).
The Wall, which is the first consumer modular MicroLED 146-in display, will be included in the software’s Luxury Living room category that is only accessible to TCD users at the Cinema Room Pro account level.
As well as The Wall, the IF Series LED Signage is also available within the home cinema design software.
TCD software enabled home cinema professionals to design any luxury living space very quickly using Samsung’s new line of MicroLED products.
Within minutes, TCD software calculates and produces what would usually take an experienced cinema designer weeks to complete. It specifies the exact location of The Wall’s modular components and all other cinema and media room equipment, while eliminating product choices and configurations that are not compatible.
Traditionally, a cinema room will use a screen and projector but The Wall is very different. Integrators need to be aware of the challenges such as not being able to place speakers behind the display.
This is a new category for the residential market, and as such, it is important for integrators to understand the bigger picture regarding MicroLEDs, and specifically the benefits and considerations that must be taken into account when selling and installing The Wall.
Using TCD, integrators are able to plan efficiently by designing the room using The Wall in a modular configuration up to 219-in, with IF Series displays available up to 260-in.
The software simplifies the complexity of the design and allows integrators to quickly and confidently design, producing a comprehensive and technically accurate luxury living space design, full project documentations, 3D room CADs, install guidelines, technical reference manuals, and how-to-build guides for use on-site.
