Trinnov Audio’s preamplifier will be one of the main features used in the Reference Cinema Home Theatre in CEDIA’s new headquarters.
Located in Fishers, Indiana, the new CEDIA headquarters is due to officially open at the end of this month.
The Trinnov Audio Altitude
32 audio-video preamplifier currently discreetly renders 32 channels of Dolby Atmos, and will soon offer 30 channels of DTS:X Pro. It features Trinnov Optimiser speaker/room correction, and the patented remapping technology enables playback of all three immersive formats to be spatially accurate from a single speaker set up.
The Reference Cinema Home Theatre has an 11.4.8 channel configuration using a total of 30 channels of processing and amplification. The L/C/R loudspeakers are biamplified, and a dedicated, separately calibrated channel powers each of the four dual 18-in subwoofer drives.
Designed by CEDIA’s chairman, Dennis Erskine and the Erskine Group and built by Heartwood Construction, the theatre system also uses 23 Procella loudspeakers, a Barco Loki projector and a 206-in wide Stewart Filmscreen projection screen. The media source used is Kaleidescape Strato and the lighting is Lutron Ketra lighting and control by Crestron.
The theatre will be one of many rooms showcased in the 3000sqft smart home Experience Centre where many different technology options will be utilised to show multiple options for smart homes.
The Experience Centre will be available for client tours and demonstrations, including CEDIA member dealer presentations to potential customers. There are also several classrooms for training, including hands-on classes throughout the centre for advance home theatre design and calibration.
HiddenWires will have a full report on the new headquarters when it has officially opened.
