Home Acoustics Alliance launches HAA Link calibration software for residential integrators

The Home Acoustics Alliance has introduced a new audio calibration software platform designed to streamline home cinema tuning workflows.

Adhering to industry standards including CEDIA RP22 and RP32, HAA Link combines system measurement and adjustment in a single interface.

“Until now, calibration via a component’s onscreen display has been a nightmare for integrators,” says Gerry Lemay, founder of the Home Acoustics Alliance. “HAA Link makes it simple and furthers our goal to formalise calibration as a repeatable, standards-based discipline.”

The aim is to reduce switching between measurement tools and processor on-screen menus.

The software works in conjunction with the HAA CinemaTools companion app for iPad, enabling real-time adjustment and analysis.

Features include global EQ management, 14 precision parametric equalisation filters per channel, and HAA Mode presets for different scenarios.

HAA Link is also intended to support integrators expanding their service offering into calibration.

The first certified implementation is available on the AudioControl Hyperion Series AV processor, with the software offered as a pro upgrade.
