AVIXA has acquired residential lighting event Lightapalooza from HTSA, the Home Technology Specialists of America, with plans to co-locate the show alongside InfoComm in Orlando from 2027.
Lightapalooza, launched in 2022 as a platform for residential lighting, energy control and daylighting, bringing together integrators, lighting designers, manufacturers and specifiers. Attendance has grown from 225 in its first year to more than 1,600 in 2026.
For AVIXA, the move expands its portfolio of events and signals a deeper interest in adjacent residential categories. While InfoComm has traditionally centred on commercial AV, the addition of Lightapalooza introduces a stronger residential and design-led component.
HTSA developed Lightapalooza as a dedicated space for its community to explore business opportunities in the category, combining product showcases with training and networking.
The acquisition adds to AVIXA’s portfolio of industry events, which includes InfoComm shows, as well as its co-ownership of Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), further extending its presence in the exhibitions space.
