Domex brings Crestron Cresnet support to aesthetic touchpanels

A home automation company has partnered with Crestron to create a new option for residential AV integrators working on wired smart home projects.

Under the agreement, Domex integrates Crestron’s Cresnet Bus technology into its design-led touch panels for low-voltage wired control of lighting, climate, shading, AV and building systems.

The move combines Crestron’s control backbone with a broader choice of contemporary user interfaces, suited to high-end residential environments as well as hospitality and mixed-use projects.

Domex CEO Shay Yerushalmi said: “By leveraging Cresnet Bus technology, we can deliver rock-solid wired performance and give Crestron integrators a wide choice of elegantly designed touch panels.”

Cresnet is widely used in Crestron installations for its ability to deliver power and data over a single cable, supporting stable communication and system design.

Meanwhile, Domex’s touchpanels are designed with an emphasis on aesthetics, featuring clean lines and refined finishes to complement modern interiors.
