Luxury television manufacturer, Aquavision, has revealed a 24-carat gold plated television aimed at the high end, luxury consumer market.
Retailing at £108,000 including VAT, the Aquavision DB100 features a 100-in, 4K, LCD screen and is currently exclusively stocked in Harrods.
So far, orders have been received from the UK, Middle East and the USA, with more expected as the company launches it global marketing drive for Q1 of 2020.
The British company designed and manufactured the TV at their UK headquarters, with the design team collaborating with audio visual brand, Bang & Olufsen to develop a seamless integration between the two companies’ products.
“There is a growing demand for luxury electronic items from consumers around the world and the television market is no different,” explained Alastair Benn, managing director of Aquavision.
“Homes today are radically different environments to the homes of the past. Advances in technology has revolutionised the very nature of what a home is. From where we used to simply live, we now live, work, rest and play – and people want to do it in style.”
He continued: “This is our ultimate luxury television. It is a major statement piece that people with style and wealth can enjoy. We believe it is the most stunning and unique television ever produced in the world.”
