Atlona returns to CEDIA Expo later this year with a focus on Opus, its series of three HDMI-to-HDBaseT matrix switchers and one receiver.
The Opus product range is built for high-performance 4K/HDR and Dolby Vision signal distribution and extension in residential AV environments.
With a comprehensive range of control and audio matrixing features, the Opus products are ideal for various applications requiring multi-zone AV distribution.
Along with the focus at CEDIA Expo, Atlona is also announcing a price reduction for the series, making it easier for custom installers to specify premium 4K HDR-ready matrix switching solutions to customers on a budget.
The Opus family comprises of the AT-OPUS-46M (4x6), AT-OPUS68M (6x8), and the AT-OPUS-810M (8x10) matrix switchers, all of which feature HDBaseT outputs for transmission of HDMI, Ethernet pass-through for data network and IP control, bidirectional IR, and RS-232 control signals up to 330 feet (100 metres).
Each model can be routed to HDBaseT outputs plus two additional HDMI outputs to support surround sound decoding to add extra flexibility.
All three switchers can be managed and configured via Atlona’s Ip-based, cloud enabled Velocity AV control platform or the Atlona Management System (AMS 2.0) software.
The Opus Series is also designed with audio matrixing features to simplify integration of multi-zone audio. Comprehensive audio integration features include audio matrix switching, TV return audio, audio embedding & de-embedding, as well as analogue and TOSLINK audio ports.
