C2G has made available its new USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 docking station kits, making the new hybrid working trend easier to set up.
Designed to set up workstations in the home or office quickly, the docking stations take the guesswork out of connectivity by providing a single connection point to give end-users more screen space and access to more devices, transforming laptops into full desktops, while saving time by bundling the necessary cables.

Rather than worrying about lack of ports in the laptop, the new C2G docking station kits allows users to plug the keyboard, mouse, monitors, storage devices, and more permanently into the docking station, which connects to the laptop via a single USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 cable.
Four docking station kits are available for any laptop on the market and setups of any complexity.
The first offering is the C2G54476 USB-C 3-in-1 Mini Dock Kit for Chromebooks and other USB-C enabled laptops. Ports include a 4K HDMI to connect to an HDMI display supporting resolutions up to 4K at 30Hz; a USB-A port to connect a keyboard/mouse combo, charge a phone, or connect a storage device supporting SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps data transfers; a USB-C Data and PD port which transfers data up to 5Gbps from a storage device and power a laptop or tablet with up to 60W power delivery. It also includes a 6ft high-speed HDMI cable.
The C2G54479 USB-C 6-in-1 Mini Dock Kit for USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 enabled laptops is the second kit on offer. Ports include a 4K HDMI, two USB-A ports, USB-C Data and PD, a USB-C to transfer data up to 5Gbps from a storage device, and a Gigabit Ethernet to deliver reliable internet connectivity with speeds up to 1000Mbps. A 6ft high-speed HDMI cable is also included.
The third kit is the C2G54477 USB-C 7-in-1 Dual Display Dock Kit for USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 enabled laptops. It supports dual display resolution up to 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz and has a Multi-Stream Transport (MST) feature to allow three different display configurations on multiple monitors. Ports include a 4K HDMI; a 4K DisplayPort to connect an HDMI display supporting resolutions up to 4K at 30Hz; a VGA to connect a VGA display; two USB-A ports, a USB-C to transfer data up to 10Gbps from a storage device; and a USB-C Power Delivery to power a laptop or tablet with up to 100W of power delivery. Included with the kit is a 6ft high-speed HDMI cable, a 6ft DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable, a 3.3ft USB-C male-to-male cable, and a 60W USB-C power supply.
The final kit is the C2G54478 Thunderbolt 3 10-in-1 Dual 4K Display Dock Kit for Thunderbolt 3 enabled MacBooks and laptops. It supports dual display resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz. Ports include a 4K HDMI; Thunderbolt 3 Video and Data to connect to an HDMI display supporting resolutions up to 4K at 30Hz, or transfer data up to 40Gbps from a storage device; a Thunderbolt 3 Power and Data to transfer data up to 40Gbps from a storage device and power a laptop with up to 60W power delivery; four USB-A ports; a USB-A with BC 1.2 to connect a storage device supporting SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps data transfers, while support for BC 1.2 provides enhanced mobile device charging; a Gigabit Ethernet; a Combo Audio Jack to connect headphones, speakers, and headphone/microphone sets for audio output and input; and an SD 3.0 Card Reader to support SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards up to 128Gb. Included in the kit is a 6ft high-speed HDMI cable, 6ft USB-C-to-HDMI adapter cable, a 1.5ft Thunderbolt 3 male-to-male cable, and a 135W power supply.
