AVPro Edge has refreshed its MXnet 1G switches with the introduction of the P-Series, delivering greater uplink bandwidth while providing high-density PoE and scalable stacking in a 1RU rackmount form factor.
Available in 24-port and 48-port configurations, the P-Series evolves the existing MXnet 1G switch lineup, purpose-built for large-scale AV-over-IP deployments.
As successors to the SW24 and SW48 network switches, the new P-Series brings the same stacking and uplinking capabilities along with significantly more uplink bandwidth and “better value”, according to the manufacturer.
With a ten-year warranty and zero licensing costs, the switches are designed for large residential, hospitality and commercial installations.
Matt Murray, CEO at AVPro Global, said: “The preconfigured MXnet P-Series switches eliminate the need for complex manual configuration, saving integrators time while ensuring predictable multicast performance and smooth video switching.
“The new SW48P jumps from four 10G uplink ports to six 25G SFP28 ports, giving integrators managing larger deployments a major step up in bandwidth headroom while remaining plug-and-play out of the box."
