Chord Company’s Shawline HDMI cable has received an upgrade to 48 Gbps performance, resulting in ultra-fast transfer rates from advanced HDMI chipsets.
The new Shawline HDMI Active Optical Cable 21 (AOC) uses a high-quality True HDMI chipset at both ends, plus the highest OM3-grade glass fibres.
As Chord Company’s second highest-performing HDMI cable, it is an optical/copper hybrid with extensive high-frequency noise protection. The copper elements have been uprated for improved mechanical isolation, but the most noticeable difference is the advanced HDMI chipsets.
Shawline HDMI AOC 21 is capable of full 8K performance at 60Hz or 4K at 120Hz, providing peace of mind for upcoming 8K content, plus a degree of futureproofing.
Priced at £250 per metre, Shawline HDMI AOC 21 is available in 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 8m, 10m, 15m, and 20m as standard but custom lengths up to 50m are also available by special order.
