Harman Kardon radiates sound through new speaker range

Harman Kardon has introduced the Radiance 2400 wireless home audio system, including two ultra-slim floorstanding speakers, a 10” 200W subwoofer and a digital hub.

Developed for professional solutions products, Harman Kardon Radiance is the first consumer product to feature HARMAN’s patented Constant Beamwidth Technology, ensuring that everyone in the room enjoys exactly the same sound experience via precisely tuned beamforming components. The technology uniquely unites 24 precisely calibrated 1.25” transducers in each of the Radiance speakers to deliver consistent sound coverage from corner to corner.

Featuring a distinctive design, the floorstanding speakers reach 1.8m in height while only being 51mm wide and 58mm deep. The lower section tapers to the champagne glass shaped base, which houses the wireless components and digital amplifiers for the system.

Harman Kardon’s Digital Loop Amplifier technology is also featured in the ultra-slim floorstanding speakers which corrects the natural errors and distortion anomalies that occur in digital amplification and restores audio quality.

Homeowners can connect their entire existing AV system to Radiance so that users can enjoy streaming music or watching films. The compact digital hub connects to the TV, game consoles, and other AV devices, while Wi-Fi allows easy access to HD music streaming through Chromecast built-in or Apple AirPlay, directly to the speakers completely wirelessly. Chromecast built-in or AirPlay also allows the user to enjoy multiroom audio throughout the house, combining Radiance with other wireless multiroom speakers.

Users have full control through the multifunctional LCD touchscreen or the included Bluetooth wireless remote control. The wireless connection between the digital hub, speakers and subwoofer is easy and simple and ready to go straight out of the box.

The Harman Kardon Radiance 2400 will be available in October 2021 for £3999.99.
