JBL has introduced a new music system and expanded its Classic series with L52 bookshelf loudspeakers.
The L75ms music system has a 32-bit/192kHz high-resolution DAC. Its retro design uses a walnut wood veneer cabinet finish and black Quadrex foam grille.
Its integrated streaming engine offers wired and wireless network audio capabilities via Ethernet, Google Chromecast Built-in, Apple AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth audio. The L75ms also provides connections for physical sources, including a 3.5mm analogue input. There is a moving magnet (MM) phono stage for connecting a turntable and an HDMI ARC input for connection to a television. There is a dedicated signal sensing subwoofer output for connecting to an external powered subwoofer.
The L75ms contains a pair of 1-in titanium dome tweeters with waveguides, two 5.25-in white cone woofers with dual front-firing ports, and a 4-in central midrange driver arranged on a multi-angled baffle. Each of the five drivers has a dedicated channel of amplification and DSP. An aluminium control panel is situated on top of the walnut enclosure, there is a wireless remote control and the system can be controlled via wireless connectivity to a Google Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2, or Bluetooth enabled device.

The speakers have walnut wood veneer enclosures and Quadrex foam grilles available in black, blue, or orange.
They are based on a two-way design using a 0.75-in titanium dome tweeter mated to an acoustic lens waveguide and a 5.25-in white cone, cast-frame woofer. JBL has used a premium crossover network design and included a front panel HF level attenuator. Enclosure tuning is bass-reflex via a front-firing tuned port, and a set of binding post speaker terminals provide a secure connection to speaker cables. The enclosure includes a pair of threaded inserts on the rear panel for use with third-party wall mount brackets.
