‘Entry level’ in German TV manufacturer Loewe’s terms may not mean that the Bild 3 is in the same ball park as other manufacturers of 4K televisions, but its latest offering may just have the technology (and design) to justify its price tag.
Priced up to £2,800 in the UK, Loewe’s Bild 3 range comprises of 43-in (model ‘3.43’), 49-in (model ‘3.49’) and 55-versions – the former of which incorporate LCD technology, with support for HDR 10 and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG).
Featuring OLED technology, the flagship 55-in model from the range also packs in support for Dolby Vision HDR.
Each model offers an integrated 80W soundbar with four drivers, two passive radiators and a bass reflex port.
The range provides easy access to the likes of Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime TV, BBC iPlayer and Tidal from the home screen, in addition to Bluetooth support for wireless music playback.
The smaller 3.43 and 3.49 models are available with Loewe's optional DR+ feature, providing an onboard 1TB hard-drive and a 5.1 decoder and digital audio link for connecting to compatible Loewe sound system, at an additional cost.
The TVs can be controlled via the included remote or Loewe’s Bild app.
The Bild 3 TVs are available in graphite or light grey finished and can stand freely or be mounted to either a table or wall.
In the UK, the range is priced at £1,690 (43-in), £2,090 (49-in) and £2,790 (55-in).
