Optoma has announced its partnership with DARBEE Visual Presence and launch the first projector with DARBEE Visual Presence image enhancement technology, the HD28DSE.  This home entertainment projector boasts 3,000 lumens and brilliant colours showing the powerful enhancement in full high definition. The integrated DARBEE Visual Presence image enhancement technology uses neuro-biologic algorithms to enhance detail and depth in skin tones, textures, and reflective surfaces. The end result is video games, Blu-ray movies and HDTV programming with amazing image clarity. The HD28DSE is a high definition 1080p DLP projector with 3,000 lumens, 30,000:1 contrast ratio and weighs just 2.58kg. Simple to plug-and-play, it is an ideal projector for watching TV and movies and gaming, either installed in the home or for temporary set-ups, such as for outdoor movies in the garden. Two HDMI inputs allow the HD28DSE to easily connect to laptops, Blu-ray DVD players, gaming consoles and digital set top boxes. MHL connectivity makes it easy to share content from devices such as the Optoma HDCast Pro, Roku's streaming stick, tablets and smartphones, which can be connected directly to the projector to playback music and video, view pictures and even share webpages and other user generated digital media content. Many external audio/video devices today require USB power or external AC power. To accommodate this, the HD28DSE includes a powered USB output – ideal for powering devices such as Google’s Chromecast and Amazon’s FireTV media dongles, or other media devices that require USB power or AC power. The HD28DSE has a lamp life of up to 8,000 hours when the lamp mode is set to dynamic. This means if used to watch a typical movie every day, the lamp would last for over ten years. The built-in 10-watt speaker provides audio that will fill a living space. An audio output is also included, enabling connection to external sound systems. For a powerful audio experience that matches the detailed, large image, Optoma’s NuForce AVP18 processor can be connected. The HD28DSE is 3D ready for an even more immersive gaming or movie experience. 3D content can be displayed from almost any 3D source including 3D Blu-ray players, 3D broadcasting and the latest generation gaming consoles. 3D glasses are sold separately. www.optoma.co.uk
