Optoma has revealed its new UHZ50 4K laser home projector, designed to elevate the cinematic experience in any room in the house for a more affordable price.
The latest addition features 3,000 lumens and a 2,500,000:1 contrast ratio to produce sharp images with clarity and vibrancy. Utilising Texas Instruments’ DLP technology and Optoma’s DuraCore laser technology, the UHZ50 delivers high-quality images and offers 24/7 operation capabilities and up to 30,000 hours of maintenance-free use to extend the projector’s lifetime.
Enhanced Gaming Mode allows gamers to enjoy fast-moving action with a 16.7ms response time in 4K at 60Hz and 4ms in 1080p at 240Hz.
The projector offers HDR10 and HDR brightness adjustments with 100% Rec. 709 and DCI-P3 Wide Colour Gamut compatibility, giving lifelike and vibrant colours for cinematic experiences at home. Users can also wirelessly share videos and images on a bigger screen using the Optoma Creative Cast app, enabling sharing from up to four devices via 5GHz Wi-Fi.
With flexible and easy installation to enable it to fill virtually any screen or wall, the Optoma UHZ50 includes warping capabilities, four corner correction, 1.3X zoom, keystone and vertical lens shift. It also features three HDMI 2.0 inputs, with one port supporting eARC audio out for enhanced audio integration. The projector also has two USB ports for media sticks and dongles for easy connectivity to additional content sources and home entertainment hardware.
