ViewSonic introduces hybrid working style monitors

ViewSonic has unveiled a series of monitors to cater to the new work from anywhere trend that has become the norm over the last year due to the pandemic.

The new monitors have several built-in features that are designed to boost work efficiency and flexibility.

“As more flexible models of remote and hybrid work take shape, people need more diverse visual solutions,” said Oscar Lin, head of the monitor business unit at ViewSonic. “We acted promptly to meet this trend and actively expanded our VG and VA series, which are monitor series designed for both enterprise and home offices.

“Professionals from different sectors can easily find a second display in our comprehensive product line up that satisfies their needs and helps them build a highly efficient second work hub wherever they are.”

To replicate the fully equipped conference room in a worker’s own home, ViewSonic’s 24” VG2440V and 27” VG2740V Full HD monitors both feature a built-in webcam to deliver clear video conferencing with high-quality live streaming capability and crisp audio through a built-in speaker and microphone.

Ensuring the virtual communication is as immersive and comfortable as possible, the monitors feature vertical angle adjustment and ergonomic flexibility so that the monitors can position the webcam at the user’s eye level.

For an ultra-wide option, ViewSonic has introduced the VG3456 which displays WQHD resolution on a 34” 21:9 ultra-wide monitor. By installing the vDisplay Manager Software, users can create split screens and auto-launch applications to maximise multitasking abilities and enlarge visuals.

With an integrated USB-C docking station, the monitor also supports ethernet connectivity which turns the monitor into a hub that provides 90W power charging, data transfer, internet, and connections to video, audio, and other peripherals, further streamlining the home working environment and improving working efficiency.

Adding to the 15.6” Full HD, metal-cased TD1655 touchscreen and the non-touch VG1655 portable monitors, ViewSonic has also launched the VA1655 ultra-lightweight monitor. Designed with a plastic case, it weighs just 0.71kg, making it easier to mount and carry around.

It also has a built-in back stand and pivotable display, enabling users to adjust viewing angles and allows them to orient the screen in both portrait and landscape. This monitor is ideal for those looking to swiftly set up a flexible working environment or those who need to overcome one-screen limitations even when on the move.

The VG2440V, VG2740V, and VG3456 will be available in Q2 of this year, while the VA1655 will be available in Q3.
