Amina has announced the latest addition to its Sapphire invisible loudspeakers, designed to combat limited installation space.
The Sapphire S200 measures 450 x 200 x 31mm with a 1.1kg weight, making it the smallest model in its product family.
Taking its name from its panel width, the speaker targets narrow joist and restricted stud spacing typically found in period properties, heritage buildings and unusual constructions.
It tackles demand for invisible speakers in challenging installation environments, thought to give installers a wider choice of placement locations.

While these new dimensions open up possibilities for single-person installation, the S200’s technology architecture remains the same as the latest Sapphire range.
These include Symphony Cell composite panel technology, acoustically tuned frames, and proprietary components developed through more than 25 years of manufacturing.
The S200 handles 50W RMS (100W peak) for a maximum sound pressure of 96dB SPL, with 180-degree hemispheric dispersion and a frequency range of 60Hz to 20kHz.
Amina says that, while smaller panel sizes naturally bring about limitations in outright output and low-frequency extension, the S200 delivers full-spectrum sound in spite of its compact dimensions.
