Blok has today launched its new collection of Stax 2G hi-fi furniture, reimagined to provide a platform for hi-fi systems to perform at their optimal levels, while offering an elegant, modern aesthetic and modular design.
Designed specifically for hi-fi equipment, a wealth of acoustic technology has been built into Stax 2G to maximise performance. Both shelves and supports have been engineered to deliver optimal isolation and the structure is fillable with inert acoustic material for even greater damping.
Stax 2G features cleverly concealed rubber bungs within the supports to carry the weight of the shelves and the equipment that sits on them. These small, flush bungs can be removed to allow the supports to be mass-loaded with inert acoustic material, allowing the supports to become heavier for more structural rigidity of the entire unit. It also reduces the vibration and resonances that might occur.

Silicon isolation pads are integrated between each shelf and into the base of the support structure to ensure the shelf absorption works at its most optimum, reducing resonance and vibration being carried through the shelves.
A bespoke foot design has been included to facilitate quick and easy height adjustment. It also allows users to select spikes or rubber feet, depending on the surface that Stax 2G will be placed on. The intuitive foot design ensures that the unit can be levelled exactly, delivering a completely flat base for the equipment to be housed.
Stax 2G is available in three contemporary finishes: black glass with high-gloss black supports, natural ash plywood with satin white supports, and a subtle black ash plywood with natural walnut supports.

The unit is also available with two types of shelves: a sleek tempered glass shelf finished in black or a modern plywood shelf, which is available in either a natural ash or black ash veneer.
The Stax 2G unit is available from today (15th July 2024).
