Crestron Electronics showcased a range of product launches, updates and integrations at CEDIA Expo 2025.
In its latest offering, the automation specialist unveiled enhanced audio features and streamlined configuration tools to improve the smart home experience for both integrators and homeowners.
Michael Short, vice president of residential marketing at Crestron, said: “This year, we wanted to show how a smart home can feel truly effortless, whether that’s settling into your living room with the new Crestron Cevo Mini remote, streaming multiple events simultaneously with DM NVX Multiview or answering the front door through our DoorBird integration.
“We’re committed to empowering our partners and delighting homeowners by delivering seamless content, intuitive collaboration and powerful control, all through one elegant solution.”
Control
Crestron debuts Configure Pro, a next-generation configuration platform designed to streamline Crestron Home OS setup.
The result of over a decade of development, it features no-programming system creation, advanced conditional logic, keypad programming and enhanced AV-over-IP configuration.
Dealers can join the Early Access Programme and provide feedback via the True Blue Community Forum.
Meanwhile, the new Cevo Mini Remote redefines handheld control with an ergonomic design tailored to today’s streaming lifestyle: it offers a tactile button layout, direct access to everyday shortcuts and a smaller form for simple control.
The next generation of Cameo keypads, dimmers and switches builds on Crestron’s legacy of sophisticated lighting control.
With customisable backlighting in over 16 million colours and up to 138 button configurations with field-replaceable buttons, the new Cameo products integrate seamlessly with nearly any space.
Advanced dimming performance, personalised engraving and retrofit-friendly installation make them a versatile option.
A metal finish line is also now available for Horizon keypads and dimmers, from brushed brass and dark nickel to dark bronze and brushed black.
Alongside these developments, Crestron’s shading portfolio expands with new horizontal sheer fabric collections — Telluride, Vail and Keystone.
A new three-inch vane size, designer no-weld hembar and updated sample book provide homeowners with elevated design options, while new hardware and power supply solutions simplify installation and system integration for professionals.
Collaboration
The native integration with DoorBird IP video door intercoms enables live video, two-way audio and door access directly from Crestron touch screens and the DoorBird app.
Options include keypads, RFID and fingerprint readers in multiple finishes.
Elsewhere, the new partnership between Crestron and HouseCurve brings app-based audio tuning to DM NAX Streaming Amplifiers.
Using an iOS mobile device, installers and homeowners can achieve professional-level room correction without additional tools or acousticians.
Content
DM NVX Multiview allows users to watch, monitor and manage up to six sources on a single display simultaneously.
Users can recall preset layouts through Crestron Home OS with the use of third-party drivers, coming soon natively to the OS, or a custom system.
As a result, DM NVX Multiview is suitable for media rooms, sports bars, theatres and entertainment spaces, where families and guests can enjoy every game at the same time.
DM NAX Audio: Apple music streaming service integration
Through a firmware update, Apple Music streaming service is now available on the DM-NAX-8ZSA and DM-NAX-4ZSP.
Highly anticipated, this integration delivers the full Apple Music streaming experience directly within the Crestron Home OS with access to personal libraries, curated playlists and the entire Apple Music catalogue.
The update brings together seamless setup, multi-user profiles and intuitive control from any Crestron interface, including touch screens, mobile devices keypads or remotes.
