Denon and Marantz, two brands from the Sound United portfolio, have introduced a 3-in, 1-out 8K HDMI switcher, allowing homeowners with compatible Denon and Marantz 8K AVRs to easily connect up to three 8K and 4K/120Hz source devices to their entertainment systems.
Featuring a small form factor, the Denon AVS-3 and Marantz VS3003 switchers are no bigger in width and depth than a Blu-ray case for easy and flexible placement. They also have a brushed aluminium front panel and a small handheld IR remote to easily switch inputs.

The switchers are both compatible with HDMI CEC, so they will turn on and off automatically, and switch inputs once HDMI CEC is enabled on all connected HDMI devices including the switcher, AV receiver, TV, and connected 8K source devices. If a user doesn’t want to use the dedicated IR remote or HDMI CEC, both switchers are also controllable through the AV receiver’s remote control.
Both switchers come with detachable wall-mount brackets as well as IR repeater capability for rack installations, out-of-sight placement, or AV furniture that might block IR reception.

Available from October, the Denon AVS-3 and Marantz VS3003 HDMI switchers have an MSRP of £179 / €199 / $199.
