Focal has evolved one of its flagship high-end loudspeakers, bringing new acoustic technologies to the audiophilic Utopia range.
Designed and manufactured in France, the Scala Utopia Evo M builds on the Scala Utopia Evo platform with significant engineering upgrades.
These include Focal’s new PRISM tweeter - first introduced in the Diva Alta Utopia - and the M-profile W midrange driver, derived from the company’s Utopia Main professional studio monitors.
The speaker also incorporates a redesigned W woofer with a dual-ferrite motor designed to deliver deeper bass, alongside proven Focal technologies like TMD suspension to reduce distortion and improve driver control.
It offers additional installation flexibility through Focal’s OPC+ crossover tuning, enabling precise bass and treble adjustment to better suit individual listening environments.
Gamma and Focus Time technologies are also intended to improve timing and overall coherence.
Focal says the speaker has been engineered to partner particularly well with Naim amplification and streaming products.
As a result, it's positioned suitably for two-channel systems in dedicated listening rooms and premium residential spaces.
Retaining the sculptural silhouette that has become synonymous with the Utopia family, the Scala Utopia Evo M is available in five finishes: these include new high-gloss lacquer and natural wood options, giving designers and homeowners greater scope to match luxury interiors.
