MadVR Labs has announced the next generation of its acclaimed Envy video processors, with demonstrations planned at CEDIA Expo 2025.
The lineup is comprised of the Envy Extreme MK3 8K-48G, Pro MK3 8K-48G and Core MK2 8K-48G.
Together, they introduce HDMI 2.1 with full 48 Gbps input and output support, advanced GPUs and cutting-edge features for both cinema enthusiasts and gamers – including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support on the input and output up to 360Hz.
Richard Litofsky, co-founder and CEO of MadVR Labs, said: “Our mission is to push the boundaries of video processing and deliver the ultimate picture quality for our customers, while ensuring it remains user-friendly and intuitive.
“With the launch of the Envy Core MK2 and MK3 series, we’re excited to usher in the next generation of Envy.”
The Core MK2 builds on the success of the MK1 with major hardware upgrades, including an NVIDIA 5060 GPU, stronger CPU, doubled RAM, and full HDMI 2.1 with 48 Gbps bandwidth.
Positioned as a price-to-performance leader, it is 8K-ready and features AI upscaling, DeinterlaceAI and patented HDR tone mapping.
A Premium package unlocks full 8K input/output upscaling, Dynamic Subtitle Overlay and extended warranty.
The Pro MK3 balances power with 5K/8K upscaling and gaming features, while the flagship Extreme MK3 introduces NVIDIA’s 5080 GPU, MotionAI, geometry correction and a five-year warranty.
Moving forward, MadVR Labs is also preparing a major software release to all Envy models.
These updates include Dynamic Subtitle Overlay (requiring Core Premium for Core owners) and new low-latency gaming modes.
All new models support advanced gaming with VRR up to 360Hz.
