The Power Mole V2, successor to the original Power Mole invented by Peter Bevelacqua, garnered support on Kickstarter for three production runs.
This new and smaller iteration is designed to power outdoor devices wirelessly via indoor outlets, a breakthrough for installations reliant on drilling.
With a USB hard-wired receiver, the device consists of a transmitter that plugs into an indoor outlet and adheres to windows for outdoor power.
The second-generation Power Mole delivers 11 Watts through windows up to 36mm thick, suitable for all singled paned windows, nearly all double paned windows and some triple paned windows.
The device is compatible with devices that use 5 volt or USB input, with choice available to power fairy lights, Nest Cams, Ring cameras and more.
