RTI has began shipping its highly anticipated DSP Matrix Amplifier range, offering enhanced power with full DSP control for both residential and commercial applications.
Consisting of three models, the new range of matrices offer fast native integration with RTI systems and an integrator-friendly web user interface, allowing intuitive configuration and optimisation for each matrix’s settings to streamline the setup process.
This configuration UI enables the new matrices to deliver exceptional performance as standalone systems or attached to other control systems.
The three models are:
- AD-46-100: A 4x6 DSP Matrix Amplifier distributing four sources to six zones, with four zones amplified at up to 100W (4ohm) all channels driven, or 50W (8ohm) per channel.
- AD-810-100: An 8x10 DSP Matrix Amplifier distributing eight sources to ten zones, with eight zones amplified at up to 100W (4ohm) or 50W (8ohm) per channel.
- AD-1616: A robust 16-source 16-zone DSP Audio Matrix for larger installations.
“This new audio series is a direct response to integrator feedback,” said Neal Ellsworth, RTI’s product management director. “We’ve completely reimagined our audio distribution family to deliver more of everything integrators have asked for – more power, more performance, more control, and more integration.”
The new range features Cool Power Class D amplification for optimal performance, bridgeable outputs for up to 200W at 8ohm, and digital inputs and loop outs for maximum flexibility. The matrices also have 5-band parametric EQ for precise audio tailoring in each zone, as well as mixing and auto-ducking capabilities for seamless integration for various audio sources.
For multiroom capability, the AD-1616 is expandable to 64 zones and the AD-810-100 is expandable to 64 amplified zones.
