Steinway Lyngdorf has released a new software update for all Lyngdorf Audio and Steinway & Sons multichannel home cinema processors.
The update, introducing Qobuz Connect, Pure Audio hi-res multichannel streaming and several performance enhancements, continues to add long-term value and sound quality to existing products.
The processors, which already offer Tidal Connect with Dolby Atmos Music, Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay 2 and Roon Ready integration, now support Qobuz Connect.
This gives users access to the platform’s catalogue of hi-res music, including its popular jazz and classical selections.
A major addition is support for Pure Audio Streaming, delivering the world’s first lossless, uncompressed immersive audio streaming format.
Steinway Lyngdorf is the first manufacturer to integrate the technology directly via AC Connect in its multichannel processors, allowing users to stream hi-res immersive audio through the Pure Audio app with app control.
The update also introduces Auto Lipsync to the Lyngdorf MP-40 2.1 and Steinway & Sons P100 2.1 processors.
This feature compensates for incorrect timing between audio and video timing using HDMI eARC feedback and is now available across all models equipped with HDMI 2.1.
The software update is available immediately and free for all Lyngdorf Audio and Steinway & Sons processors.
