British speaker manufacturer has announced the appointment of Gregory Lee as its chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Lee officially assumed his position at the company on 1 November, 2018 and will also serve on Bowers & Wilkins’ board of directors. Former CEO, Gideon Yu, will remain co-executive chairman of the board following the move.
“I am extremely excited for Greg to join Bowers & Wilkins as our new CEO and lead the company forward in our next phase of growth,” commented Yu. “Greg has extensive leadership experience in consumer electronics, a deep knowledge of brand building, and a passion for our products. Bowers & Wilkins is in great hands with Greg.”
Lee has been working in customer-focused roles throughout his career, including sales and marketing leadership roles representing brands at Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.
His most recent experience has been rooted in the consumer electronics industry in North America and global leadership positions including president & CEO of Samsung Electronics North America and global chief marketing officer of Samsung Electronics, as well as president of Nokia Technologies’ Global Business Group.
