Registration has opened for this year’s CEDIA Awards & Leadership Conference for the Americas region following its successful debut last year in Chicago.
Taking place on 21-22 July at the historic Union League Club of Chicago, the event will provide CEDIA members with opportunities to network, sharpen their leadership skills, and celebrate the very best home technology integration projects.
Giles Sutton, the senior vice president of industry engagement said: “For 2020, we’re including even more valuable time to network, beginning the evening of 21st July where the first 130 to register for the CEDIA Awards & Leadership Conference will watch the Chicago Cubs take on the Chicago White Sox from Wrigley Rooftops.
“The event is the perfect mix of fun, connectivity, and productivity and we look forward to a high-energy gathering.”
Kicking off on the morning of 22nd July, the Leadership Conference will have an engaging line up of presenters taking on key topics designed to drive business.
“The presenters we have assembled for the Leadership Conference, Linzi Boyd and David Brown, are incredible and inspiring speakers,” said Samantha Ventura, CEDIA’s vice president of education and training.
“We’ve changed the approach to feature fewer, but more marquee presenters and subjects. Based on comments from last year’s attendees and with feedback from a task force, we know we’ve hit the right formula. Participants will receive tons of valuable takeaways to broaden their leadership horizons and boost their business.”
Following later that evening, the CEDIA Awards celebration will showcase the greatest projects from the Americas regions, honouring those who make the innovations and contributions of technology happen in the home. There will also be a cocktail hour before the event.
Entrepreneur, Linzi Boyd will host three sessions throughout the Leadership Conference focusing on topics involving purpose-driven, brand-led leadership; business and personal growth; and personal branding.
Linzi’s presentations will be:
• Building Brands to Shift Industries: Today, Tomorrow, The Future
• Find Your Formula for Growth
• Turn your Profile into an Asset – Push vs. Pull
David Brown, Metrostudy senior vice president will present a session that will provide an eye-opening look into residential construction’s current state and where it’s most likely heading.
The Economic Outlook for the Industry draws upon exclusive, market-by-market valuations, supply, and demand predictive models from Metrostudy, which bills itself as the ‘nation’s best-connected best-researched housing data firm’.
Held on the evening of the 22nd July, the CEDIA Awards will celebrate the industry’s finest projects, honouring the best work from CEDIA members in the Americas region.
The deadline to enter these awards is 23rd March.
