Ihiji's VP of Product Technology Management Mike Maniscalco has been named the Training Volunteer of the Year for 2016 by CEDIA.
Each year, CEDIA recognizes a new volunteer, a training volunteer, and an overall volunteer for their contributions of time and expertise to the organization. Mike Maniscalco joins Meridian Audio’s Ryan Donaher as the New Volunteer of the Year and Ian Bryant of ZenArray as Volunteer of the Year.
Mike, along with the other award recipients, will be recognized for his contributions at the Volunteer Appreciation Event in the CEDIA Booth (#4710) on Friday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m. at CEDIA 2016.
Mike Maniscalco has been a consistent force for CEDIA education and training over the years, serving on the Business Xchange Task Force and the IT Task Force, as well as teaching several in-person training courses for CEDIA.
Maniscalo also regularly hosts boot camps and workshops on the topics of networking, remote monitoring and management, and how integrators can generate recurring monthly revenue through service contracts. He will present five different learning labs and workshops — one for each day of the Expo — this year at CEDIA. These courses will cover business and technology topics to help home technologists succeed in today’s rapidly changing, highly competitive environment.
The courses qualify for CEDIA Continuing Education credits, which count toward an integrator’s CEDIA certification. The times and dates of the courses are as follows:
* Learning Lab Set-up & Configuration Tues - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
* Creating & Implementing Client Care Programs: The Service 2.0 Model Wed - 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
