CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association) has announced that it has opened the next edition of its annual Size and Scope Research Survey, in partnership with The Farnsworth Group.
Designed to size the market and pinpoint trends affecting the work of home technology professionals, CEDIA is encouraging all individuals who sell or install AV, security, networking, control, and associated systems in the UK to participate in the survey.
Market research firm, The Farnsworth Group, is experienced in the home and building sector and has worked closely with CEDIA to develop a survey to best assess the marketplace.
CEDIA states that the results will help installers “better position their company in the smart home industry, track current market developments, and forecast relative channels.”
“These questions will allow us to find out the UK market worth, the type of applications integrators are working on, which product areas are important to clients, emerging trends, and project locations, to name a few,” commented Matt Nimmons, managing director at CEDIA EMEA.
“The information that these surveys generate is invaluable to us as an association and to those who work in the industry, and so it is vital that integrators participate and contribute to the big picture of our industry.”
The CEDIA Size and Scope Survey takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.
CEDIA members will receive a summary of the study findings and will be able to access the full report free of charge. Those who complete it will also be entered into a prize draw and three winners will receive an expenses-paid trip to ISE 2019, including a CEDIA training pass (including return airfare to Amsterdam, one night of accommodation and one all-access pass for CEDIA training).
