JBL amp & ARCAM streamer receive Roon Ready status

Two more models from the HARMAN Luxury Audio Group brands have been certified as Roon Ready.

JBL’s SA750 integrated amplifier, being launched to celebrate the company’s 75th anniversary, now has Roon Ready certification, adding to the already high-spec feature set of the device. The SA750 is designed with a milled aluminium face-panel and teak panels which draw directly from the memorable styling of JBL’s SA600 and SA660 amplifiers from the 1960s and 1970s. It houses a class G amplifier that delivers 120W of power per channel into 8?. It also delivers streaming protocols including Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast and features a switchable MM/MC phono input and offers Dirac Live room calibration for optimised performance in any listening room.

ARCAM’s ST60 streamer has also received the certification from Roon Labs. As the company’s debut dedicated network player, the ST60 brings ARCAM’s extensive experience with digital audio to the world of standalone streaming machines. Already equipped with a host of connectivity and audiophile-level performance features, Roon Ready certification adds further features to the ST60.

Roon Ready status exclusively applies to network devices that have Roon’s streaming technology built in, meaning that the JBL SA750 and ARCAM ST60 discovers and connects to Roon without any configuration to deliver bit-perfect audio.

Products with Roon Ready certification also enables effortless multiroom audio, letting users wirelessly connect Roon devices and control zones via the Roon app.

To ensure the machines are both running the latest Roon certified software, owners of the JBL SA750 should make sure their machine is running software 1.70/1155 minimum, and ARCAM ST60 owners should ensure their machine is running at a minimum 0.67/1155.
