Outdoor AV to be highlighted at CEDIA Expo 2022 with dedicated area

CEDIA Expo 2022 will see the return of Destination Backyard, a luxury outdoor set up highlighting the latest outdoor AV solutions from a partnership between manufacturers, Coastal Source and Séura.

Coastal Source, a manufacturer of outdoor audio and lighting systems, has partnered with Séura, a manufacturer of outdoor TVs, indoor waterproof TVs, TV mirrors, and lighted mirrors, to host Destination Backyard at CEDIA Expo 2022.

The 24,000sqft area will provide a first-hand look at what is possible for outdoor spaces, designed to showcase Coastal Source and Séura’s fully weatherproof product lines in the real outdoors environments they’re designed and engineered to withstand. Destination Backyard will feature grassy areas, patio furniture, lawn games, outdoor seating and canopy tents while displaying the latest outdoor innovations from Coastal Source and Séura’s product lines.

“Destination Backyard was a highlight of CEDIA Expo 2019,” said Franco D’Ascanio, president and founder of Coastal Source. “We are excited to be returning even bigger and better in 2022. Coastal Source is again partnering with Séura to demonstrate our products in their natural element: the great outdoors. Across a truly huge outdoor space, we will demonstrate our award-winning outdoor audio and lighting and a wide swath of new products in both categories.”

Rob Emberley, president of Séura, added: “We are thrilled to, once again, partner with Coastal Source to bring Destination Backyard to CEDIA Expo 2022. This outdoor party will function as the ultimate outdoor television and audio demo experience, with drinks, games and a dozen Séura outdoor TVs in the sun and shade.

“We are confident that the hot Dallas sun will help us demonstrate our competitive edge, with TVs that are 30% brighter than the nearest competition, the best anti-glare screen performance, and proprietary Extreme Temperature Protection with active heating and cooling.”

Destination Backyard will be located adjacent to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Centre, between Lamar Street and Griffin Street.
