Habitech strengthens its 4K offering with a range of tensioned screens optimised for 4K and UHD projection… Habitech, a value-added distributor of home entertainment and automation products has announced the availability of a new range of Projecta screens featuring an advanced HD Progressive’ screen surface, which is designed to maximise the colour fidelity, uniformity and pixel resolution of 4K and UHD image projection. Now that 4K/UHD resolution is a mandatory requirement for luxury theatre projection, the importance of pixel preservation to the clarity of the projected image has never been greater. Formulated by Milestone and shared by its Da-Lite and Projecta brands, the HD Progressive’ line of projection surfaces is designed to create a surface free of microscopic variances in order to reflect accurately the colours, uniformity and full pixel resolution of 3840x2160 UHD and 4096×2160 4K images. Offering an extraordinarily wide 170° viewing angle for reduced viewing distances in line with the latest requirements for Ultra HD/4K home cinema projection. the perfectly flat HD Progressive’ surface allows the screen essentially to disappear, producing brilliant light, vibrant colour and luxuriant detail in order to deliver the full potential of HD, 4K and Ultra HD resolutions. HD Progressive screens at 0.9 gain are now available through Habitech on Projecta’s tensioned in-ceiling recessed, surface mounted and fixed frame screens. They join a wide range of fixed and motorised screen options from Projecta, backed by Habitech’s comprehensive stock and marketing commitment.
